HOW IT WORKS

Wellbeing Tick is based on an annual cycle, working towards an Annual Accreditation Assessment to gain or maintain the Tick!

Sustaining a thriving wellbeing culture is a continuous journey that involves an ongoing commitment to improvement. Read on to find out how the programme works, what you can expect year on year and how it was developed.

How does it work?

Getting the Wellbeing Tick is no walk in the park – is your workplace up for it?

Starting the annual cycle

  • Initial high-level wellbeing stocktake against seven key pillars via company-wide survey and Employee Focus Groups

  • Outcomes presented in company report including recommendations on key priorities then put into action in a Planning and Strategy Development Workshop.

During the annual cycle

  • Guidance, support and best practice resources for your Wellbeing leads to implement recommendations

  • Business chips away at achieving the accreditation assessment criteria

  • Regular check ins to assess progress, provide guidance and tweak the plan.

Ending the annual cycle

  • Workplace completes Annual Accreditation Assessment

  • Focus groups and company-wide survey are run to verify evidence provided, assess progress against recommendations and seek feedback for upcoming year

  • Wellbeing Tick assesses all accreditation elements against a rating scale and workplaces will be required to meet the minimum benchmark

  • Wellbeing Tick presents a company report with commentary on progress and recommendations for following year

  • Workplace is awarded Wellbeing Tick – time to celebrate!

  • Wellbeing Tick accreditation logo is provided to place on workplace’s website, job advertising and business promotional material

  • At this point the annual cycle begins again with the Annual (re)Accreditation Assessment evidence required by the annual anniversary date.

How the tick was developed?

“It’s almost criminal to not focus on wellbeing in the workplace these days”
